		<description>@Kat- Thanks for reading!  I usually don&#039;t value the current cost of my home because it seems like it may fluctuate so much.  However some other people like to put it in their net worth updates (like Million Dollar Journey).  I&#039;m not concerned about pensions being removed. I RRSP mainly to get a tax refund LOL.  I will be focusing more on TFSA now that they are available.  I have used my RRSP for the HBP as well and will be needing to recontribute back to the RRSP.</description>

Ok so can you advise me how to calculate net worth.
Like i know it should be simple, 
Assests - libailities-
But like the house I bought, it cost 283k I owe 100k now, and it&#039;s increased in value to 360k now.. 
do i factor in the increase of its projected value?
Also I&#039;m a Public Sector employee too- are you concerned about the pensions being removed, is that why you rrsp? 
I only rrsp&#039;d for a time to buy my first home, now i&#039;ve begun again 1st to offset tax man (i have 2nd job now) and in case our pension is taken away from us.. like our severance was.</description>
