As some of you may know, I wouldn’t be where I am today without having joined the Yakezie group, started by natural born leader and Yakezie mastermind Financial Samurai. I have learned so much and am forever grateful for the connections I have made with other personal finance bloggers. Members of the Yakezie have a chance to host the Yakezie carnival, so it’s my turn today! I’m going to start from the bottom up- Bottoms up! (Just went to a wedding yesterday night, so don’t mind my references to alcohol)
Here it is for some fun sunny summery Sunday reading! (Can you say that three times fast?)
PS HAPPY SUMMER! I hope everyone is as excited about summer as I am. =)
PPS Happy Father’s Day to all the fantastic, dedicated, hard-working dads out there!
Readers, what has your father taught you about personal finance that really ‘stuck’? Please share!
My father has taught me so much about being an entrepreneur, and owning your own business. He never really worked for anyone and always had many businesses going on, yet he still had time to go on month long trips with us in the summer. He also taught me that cash flow from real estate properties is a good thing. He was always so hard working, a real ‘do-it-yourself-er’. …I really admire him when it comes to personal finance (among other things, of course). Happy father’s day, dad!

I got the pingback! Thanks for including my post – and all these lovely links!
You’re all welcome guys- of course I included y’all- it’s the Yakezie, man =)
Thanks for the great Father’s Day carnival!
Great job hosting!
I appreciate being included in this carnival. Thanks so much for hosting!!!!
Great Job with the carnival!
It’s a lot of work, and you did an excellent job!
Thanks to everyone for such great blog posts =) It was my pleasure to do the carnival =)
Thanks for hosting. Great job…and I love summer too!
Is there a list I need to be on somewhere to be included? I’m added to the Yakezie and have the badge, but never seem to show up in these carnivals.. Otherwise – great job!
@Money Smarts- I usually go by the updated Yakezie list (it self-updates 4x a day) from creditcardchaser.com. Maybe you can give him a holler? It posts the most recent posts =) Since your most recent post is fantastic, and I’m sorry I missed adding it, I’ve added it just now. =)
Thanks a lot for hosting! I was asking around how to submit post for the carnival! I didn’t even know I was included
Thanks for the mention!! Excellent job on putting this together.
@Suba- if I used the submissions I actually got, I think the carnival would be a sad, lonely party lol. I just usually go through everyone’s blogs and pick the most recent post =)
Thanks for hosting this week!
Thanks so much for adding my post!
