This has been a GOOOOOD week. It’s amazing how just some good weather can brighten your mood (So are San Diego-ans in a perma-good mood? I wonder!). We Vancouverites have been waiting for summer to arrive for a l-o-n-g time. We had a pretty sad June-uary where it seemed to have rained for 25 of the 30 days of June, so the recent heat wave has been much appreciated. Everyone in Vancouver has been flocking to the beaches in droves.
There were some really excellent reads around the web this week.
Here are some of them- grab a nice ice cold Long Island ice tea, take out your laptop to the beach or park (with your data stick of course- I should get one of those since I’m such an internet whore), and enjoy the summer!

Thanks for the mention, have a good weekend!
“June-uary” haha… never heard that term. I guess January is quite dreary? That’s snow season though, and I love it.
Thanks for doing the wrap. We’ve talked things out and are fine now. Funny how 1 or 2 folks really lashed out at me in the comments section. All I did was write about how I felt. To her, I just was silent back in her response. I didn’t get angry, yell or anything.
Have a good weekend!
Best,
Sam
@Financial Samurai- Yup, January is quite dreary- actually… January to June and October to December are quite dreary… but January does make up for it because of snow season. Glad to hear things are good again- it’s great how most issues can be settled with talking. Regarding lasing out, I guess some people have differing opinions (re: commenters lashing out) and are very vocal about them on both your blog and mine *ahem* (wednesday’s post for me!).
@Canadian Finance Blog- you too! You gonna go check out the Stampede? (I know it’s a few hours drive from Edmonton =P )
